Wedding Trend 2013: Lace

Of course lace has always been a tradition but it’s also showing up in less traditional ways. It’s very popular in gowns for its femininity and your bridesmaids will match perfectly in the same fabric. Lace can include all sorts of other designs, such as centerpieces, floral arrangements, accessories, and the cake. 

Lace is a nice touch on invitations and other wedding stationery as well. A lace design can make an invitation look classy and timeless. It works within most themes, and is particularly suited to the very popular amongst vintage and rustic styled weddings.

We love it when brides incorporate lace in their wedding because this delicate material always looks stunning. We’re truly looking forward to this being a wedding trend for this year!

Spring 2013 Color Report

Who is ready for spring?? We know we are! Now that Christmas has passed, we're ready for the flowers to bloom and the trees to turn green! Especially with the spring 2013 color palette! I'm sure some of you have a head start on your planning and some might have it complete, but please tell us you've included a color or two from the list below!?

Sunflower definitely grabs our attention! We love all the pastels in this mix and many of the colors can be used together. Neutrals, such as the Alloy can be paired with several of these colors (Grayed Jade, Dusk Blue, Linen, etc).

Detail To Love: Mr & Mrs Signs

I'm sure you know that we LOVE some good Mr & Mrs signs, and these burlap chair signs definitely fall into that category! Plus, they are PERFECT for adding a bit of country into your wedding decor!

I think Mr & Mrs signs are one of the best details - they don’t have to be too labor-intensive, and they’re the perfect way to continue on with your wedding’s style or theme! The options for materials and style are endless!

Geometric Placecards

Thanks to Pinterest, I fell in love with another simple and D.I.Y. idea that I had to share with you all! How neat are these place cards? I'm lovin' the idea of the geometric shapes with the stone details. 

The stones can easily be replaced with any item of your choosing - jewels, rhinestones, ribbon, etc. This idea is very unique and pretty, to follow any wedding or event theme!

{Christmas Inspirations}

I come back from vacationing in the Caribbean where it's in the 80's to 30 degrees or colder. Talk about brrr! The weather here in Kansas is making me very excited for the best holiday of the year (it's okay to disagree), Christmas! Possibly could be the non-stop Christmas music on the radio, the movies you used to watch as a kid, or even the lights on your neighbor's house. Regardless, the hustle and bustle is all around and love is in the air. I can't get enough :)

I came across these inspiration boards and I just loved how they fit wonderfully with the current season (and my joyful mood)! These ideas go perfectly with any romantic or sophisticated December wedding. You agree?
