"Never Give Up...

 ...on something you can't go a day without thinking about." - Unknown

As an Event Planner, this world can go in so many different directions. One year, your business could be booming with business and the next, you might have a hard time booking every weekend you planned on. Jubilation Events has been around Wichita for over eight years and we can admit that we've had our rough patches. We've been able to come together as a company and overcome obstacles to the best of our abilities.

This is why I would like to dedicate this blog to our Brides and show our appreciation. If you didn't need us to design/plan/coordinate/setup your special day, then companies like us wouldn't be able to do what we love. We only have the option to get married once in our lifetime, but when you make us a part of your day, then it gives us a feeling of getting married all over again - except this time, we know what we are doing :) We love to work with people and enjoy meeting every personality.

My heart melts with every couple we meet because every story is different from each other; how you met your love, your own ups and downs as a couple, how your Groom proposed, and how you envision your wedding day. No two couples are alike and it's amazing to be able to see a couple grow during a time that can be stressful with planning and compromising.

Now it's time for us to say THANK YOU for giving us the opportunity to do what we are very passionate about. Without you, this profession wouldn't be possible!

{Orange and Gray Palette}

Jubilation's is finalizing wedding details for what will be a "nightclub feel" wedding in the middle of May. The couple- very professional, clean lines, and a strong vision of what they want their day to look like, has gone the direction for an upcoming trend. A bright color paired with gray is a stunning color palette with lots of options. With many shades of orange and gray to choose from, our couple has decided on a bright orange with a subtle shade of gray; similar to the images. After our floral design meeting last week, the couple has given me lots of inspiration for this blog post. This is becoming one of our favorite color combinations, as you can pick just about any color and pair it with gray to fit your personality. We can't wait to see the final product in May!

Good health, good luck, and happiness....

St. Patrick's Day- A day to recognize the most commonly known patron Saint of Ireland. One theory is that March 17th is the day that Saint Patrick died. In addition to honoring Saint Patrick, the day also is a traditional day for spiritual renewal and offering prayers for missionaries worldwide. Being a religious holiday as well, many people attend mass, where March 17th is the traditional day for offering prayers for missionaries worldwide before the serious celebrating begins.

The plus side is that there are so many different shades of green to pick from a shamrock green to a dark, hunter green, so finding a shade that looks great on everyone in your bridal party shouldn't be a problem. You may want to mix it up and use a bunch of different shades of green that compliment each other. If you want to have more of a soft and romantic feel, stick with light shades of green. Bright greens such as Kelly Green may look cheesy if used too much throughout your theme. A great accent color to go with green is gold. Try to stay with white or ivory invitations and add little touches of green or have your Bridesmaids in green dresses with a lighter flower bouquet. Incorporate little amounts of green throughout the Groom and Groomsmen; either a green vest or green accents in their boutonniere.

"For each petal on the shamrock
This brings a wish your way -
Good health, good luck, and happiness
For today and every day."
