{Breakfast for Dinner}

  One of the cutest rehearsal dinners we have had the opportunity to be a part of this year! Instead of the typical chicken or steak meat for dinner, the Bride and Groom decided to have a little twist and serve breakfast instead. From an omelet station with numerous toppings to choose from, to waffles to biscuits and gravy; there wasn't a guest that could not be satisfied with the delicious buffet.

We are very happy for the final look of this rehearsal dinner. This took weeks of planning, but the Bride obviously had great taste!

Rustic chic centerpieces with blue mason jars and mercury vases

The dessert favor was a muffin sat upon doilies - very country!

 Some of the Bride and Groom's favorite things...Pepsi and Popcorn for their guests to enjoy while watching the video montage.

 Mimosas - went perfectly with the 'Breakfast for Dinner' theme.

 The final result of the room at Cowtown Museum. The colors chosen were light pink, jade and white with silver accents.

Thank you to the vendors who helped complete this beautiful rehearsal dinner -
Classically Covered, Stems, Corporate Caterers, and Cheri's Bakery

Next to come: the wedding ceremony and reception! I can't wait for you to see the pictures from the gorgeous wedding of Sarah Bastian and Brock Hampton!

The Wedding Cake...

...in a world where fashion meets fondant, wedding cakes have become as much of a treat for the eyes as they are for the taste buds. The wedding cake has evolved from an intricate dinner dessert into a center stage beauty. Check out  below some of the top wedding cake trends for 2012.

{ BOLD colors }
Show your true personality with a color that will sure attract your guests.

{ Hand-painted designs }
Turn your wedding cake into nothing less than an edible canvas.

 { Ombre design }
Pick your wedding color and show it off in many shades.

{ Complex cake flavors }
Instead of trying to pick only a couple of flavors for your entire cake, mix them or pick two different flavors per tier. If that is too much, think about fillings between the layers.

{ Cake pedestals }
Display your cake in a decorative way. Choose a color or a metallic, tall or short, antique, or a D.I.Y. stand to enhance your cake.

Coral...the color of Summer!

{CORAL} The more I see this color, the more I fall in love with it all over again. Coral is the color of summer...well, in my own opinion but I'm sure I can get a few of you to agree with me. Coral is certainly a color that hasn't been seen at a whole lot of weddings, which makes it fun to work with this summer, as the possibilities are endless! There are many color options to pair with this color: peach, turquoise (hot combo this year!), ivory, gold, brown, navy...do you need me to keep going?

There are many directions you can go with this fabulous color. Try a chic barnyard theme or a breezy beach theme (pictured below). The ideas will keep coming with this timeless color. No need to stick with a romantic theme; coral is a vibrant color to be able to show off you and Groom's personalities!

Tip: Don't be concerned with matching the exact shade you have chosen. Try incorporating different shades of coral in your flowers, including bouquets and table arrangements. This will help you avoid any contrasts and be able to seamlessly blend any shades that might slightly vary.

I hope you are enjoying this color as much as I am...I can't get enough of it!
 Happy Planning!!
